It's the year 2020 AD, and Tokyo is a city infested with crime. Women can no longer go out in the streets alone without being victimized. Not wanting their daughter to suffer the same fate, Tsukasa Kozuki's cop parents raise her as a boy. When they are suddenly killed by one of the yakuza's in-fights, Tsukasa is left orphaned on the streets along with her three brothers. With no other options, she goes to the only person she can think of for help: pokerface Ryuji Shirogami, her classmate of 8 years and also the head leader of the powerful yakuza group, Kuryugumi. Ryuji, whose father was also a victim of the same yakuza fight, agrees to take her on as his personal bodyguard. As they set out to find their enemy, Ryuji slaps on an increasing amount of debt onto Tsukasa using all manners of ploys necessary to keep the reluctant Tsukasa by his side.
The storyline revolves around Mina ?epe?: Princess- her werewolf guardian Akira Kaburagi Regendorf and Ruler of Vampires. For a long time, Mina is in hiding along with her folks as with other vampires. Trying to end centuries of isolation, Mina gets permission to produce a particular district for vampires called "The Bund" off the shore of Tokyo, Japan by paying off the whole national debt of the Japanese authorities along with her family's huge riches.
Carrying out a dialogue present where identified vampire film actor Seiichi Hirai (who was revealed to be a real vampire) is killed by her during his rampage, Mina shows to the planet the being of vampires while mentioning her want for the two races to live together as they have been living on "The Bund." Nevertheless, tensions run high as extremist vampire factions and awful individuals start to interfere using the human planet with the want peace of Mina. This causes Mina and Akira to protect "The Bund" from these attackers.
Regarding the Bund
The Bund (also called Tokyo Landfill #0) is a unique man-made island district that floats in Tokyo Bay off the shore of Tokyo. Mina had it constructed to serve as a colony for the Vampires and Werewolves.
While Vampires would be the main civilians residing in the Bund, the Werewolf guards of Mina called the Beowulf also live there fulltime on her safety. Persons of great importance (both politically or through private connection to Mina) are permitted to go to the Bund. The sole link in the mainland to the Bund is through one tunnel that is subterranean. The Bund h-AS important ports or no bridges.
There's also an underground metropolis in the Bund which is inhabited by the Fangless (vampires who ripped out their particular fangs) as a way about them to stay freely and without persecution.
As far as the public is concerned, Rocopon—earth's only alien—hasn't done much but loaf around in the 8 years since he crash-landed in Tokyo with no memory of his past. Granted, that is what he likes to do, and he does spend a lot of time playing video games. But as an alien to whom earth laws technically do not apply, he's been hard at work in a top-secret capacity: government-sanctioned extrajudicial assassin, cleaning up the worst of society that the law is either too slow or too powerless to confront. After years of dispatching hapless crime lords and their goons, things have gotten comfortable. The story is set at Shishidou, a school attended by rich and elite people. Tomu Shirasagi, a gambler, is a mysterious new transfer student who has come from a public school (instead of a prestigious private one) and faces the elitist environment. There, he declares a challenge toward any student and claims he will bring to the ruin the whole school through a series of gambling matches. Nobody knows why he has come to that school or what the real motivations behind his actions are.
During any match, Tomu shows off all of his unique coolness and ability.
He employs a wide range of tricks, both psychological and physical, to ensure his victory. In any game, you will constantly ask how he's planning to win, why he's really doing certain things, and what's really going on. At the end of the matches, the tricks are revealed, and they all work in real life, even if they do require one to be highly skilled or lucky in order to perform them.
The story centers around the various matches he undertakes and the interactions between the various characters, like Mika Shishidou, the beautiful granddaughter of the school headmaster, who is highly intelligent but contemptuous and superb, or Abidani, the vampiric looking dorm superintendent and main villain (for now) in the series, who has a sadistic personality and whose goal is to make Tomu leave his school (or to get him killed).
As the story unfolds, more about Tomu's past is revealed, leading to unpredictable turns of events.
