Summary
5-year-old palace maid Charlie knows that in this world, she will be murdered out of jealousy by the villainous empress at a young age. Her only sources of hope are her plan to escape the palace as soon as possible, and her best friend Rose, a fellow maid who’s like a big sister to her. However, when Charlie discovers that the kind-hearted Rose is actually the empress in disguise, her plans come crashing down around her. Can Charlie stay close enough to the empress to make it out alive?

I'm torn. Honestly, if she marries the prince the whole issue of her being the last of that fallen kingdom's royalty becomes moot. However, as much as she likes the prince, I think her feelings for the magician are stronger. Both have been her childhood friends, both are absolutely in love with her... both would make good husbands... there's probably going to be some twist in the end; the prince dies to protect her, the magician turns out to be her half-brother, etc... but right now it's a toss-up between the two, for me.
