A normal high school girl, Umika, had a childhood friend she had spent time with ever since they were little. His name was Haru. They were closer than family, and it was natural for him to always be by her side. However, seven years ago, after Umika’s parents divorced, Haru suddenly began avoiding her. As time passed, they grew distant. Before she realized it, Haru had become extremely popular with the girls at school and was rumored to be someone who “never turns anyone away,” almost like a beast. Meanwhile, Umika spent her days busy working part-time jobs. Little by little, the worlds of the two drifted apart. Then one day, Umika ends up trapped alone in an elevator with Haru. Until the elevator starts moving again, the two talk for the first time in seven years.
