Summary
Cheryl was born into a marquess's family, but as a 'child of iniquity', her father did not recognise her as his daughter, and she was treated worse than a servant and given less than enough to eat. One day, for some reason, she receives a letter of proposal from the Senoder frontier count. Deciding to devote herself to the man who chose her, Cheryl visits him, but as soon as she meets him, she is greeted with cold words.

I'm torn. Honestly, if she marries the prince the whole issue of her being the last of that fallen kingdom's royalty becomes moot. However, as much as she likes the prince, I think her feelings for the magician are stronger. Both have been her childhood friends, both are absolutely in love with her... both would make good husbands... there's probably going to be some twist in the end; the prince dies to protect her, the magician turns out to be her half-brother, etc... but right now it's a toss-up between the two, for me.
