Summary
Due to natural disasters caused by the world regeneration which took place two years ago. Two researchers, Richter and Aster, are trying to find the spirit Ratatosk who seems to be the only one able of restoring the balance of mana.
Was the misgendering intentional for the cuteness factor, or was it a translation error? The little one might have been using a gender-neutral phrase like 'older sibling' but the translation matrix needed a pronoun and somebody guessed wrong for the context.
