Summary
"Keep winning and we'll be able to see each other at nationals!" In order to keep his promise with the girl next door who moved away, Keiki aims to be a basketball champion! But he quickly quits after getting his butt handed to him by a real basketball prodigy. As the seasons pass and his wounds heal, Keiki is once again drawn to basketball by an unlikely new arrival.
Well, he is uniquely situated for such a role. A third of the power of Earth-reality's God (Him, his wife, and twice-reincarnated dude seem to be the only survivors so I believe they said the power would reach an equilibrium between all the participants of those who consumed the remains of the Creator God of Earth); along with being the strongest Mage in Rondel; and also the fact that he remembers when he was alive on Earth and still has a family there. He literally has a foot in both worlds.
