also, slaps makes me think that the receiver of those slaps (bastards) are just childish in mind that deserves a motherly beating. Is it just me that slaps and punches send different messages? Like, for punches, it's like "you deserve a beating" and with slaps is like "you are lowly and you don't deserve more than this because I don't go to your level"?
