Summary
By the will of the late marquis, Jewel is to marry Blake, who has just become the new marquis. She feels a quiet joy at becoming the wife of the man she has admired since childhood—but this marriage exists solely so Blake can inherit the marquisate and its fortune. Because Jewel had a white marriage with the former marquis for certain reasons, arrangements were made so that if Blake proved unfit to rule, Jewel herself would inherit the estate. As a result, Blake despises her, believing she is a greedy villainess after his wealth. And so begins Jewel’s difficult married life, filled with misunderstandings and tension—!? A love fantasy about a temporary contract marriage between two people who can’t be honest with their feelings, full of emotional missteps and slow-burning romance!
